I see no updates in the pipe for Backup Exec 16. Seems like they have abandoned us. Think it is time to look at Veeam or Unitrends more seriously. I tested out Backup Exec 16 and it still requires purchase of the Enterprise Server Option (ESO) to get true incremental support with agent-based backups. I did not test the performance issue as there is no point with pricing like this.
