Because many of the poor and blind cannot make it to Kathmandu, Dr. Ruit still reaches out to them by trekking into remote parts of Nepal and throughout the Himalayas. Dr. Due to a lack of physical capacity in the hospital, however, our doctors can only care for about 300 of the 500-plus patients who line up outside the door of Tilganga every morning.
